CALL FOR PAPERS
The International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT'2017) is a forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners to present their latest research, results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of information technology. ACIT'2017 will include presentations to contributed papers and state-of-the-art lectures by invited keynote speakers. Tutorials on current issues and special sessions on new trends related to information technology and software industry could be organized. This conference is considered the official scientific conference for the Colleges of Computer and Information Society, stemming from the Association of Arab Universities. The permanent General Secretariat of ACIT is hosted by Zarqa University, Zarqa, Jordan. ACIT'2017 will be organized by Zarqa University, Sfax University and Federal Association of Scientific Research, Technology and Information "FIRST". In parallel with the ACIT where several scientific publications from the Arabic World would be presented from the 22-24, an Asterisk Africa event will be organized between 22-24 December 2017. At the last day of ACIT edition, Hackaton also will be organized "Training and competition" in order to evaluate the performance of Android applications.
Selected papers from the ACIT'2017 conference will be invited to submit an extended version to International Arab Journal of Information Technology (IAJIT). IAJIT is a Thomson Reuters (ISI) with impact factor 0.724. Papers will be selected based on their reviewers' scores and appropriateness to the Journal's theme. All extended versions will undergo reviews and must represent original unpublished research work. Further details will be made available later.
ACIT'2017 will be held at Yassmine Hammamet, a very beautiful town located on the northern peninsula of Cape Bon. It sits on the edge of the Gulf of Hammamet and is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea. Yassmine Hammamet is best known for its wide sandy beaches and water sports, and the city was actually the first tourist attraction in Tunisia.
Yassmine Hammamet is less than one hour from the capital Tunis and its Carthage International Airport and has become a favored touristic destination. The place has everything other than its stunning beach and its good climate; it has a beautiful and charming Medina, hotels of all classes, good restaurants and many options for daytrips.

Electronic submission of papers as Microsoft's Word document via ACIT OpenConf. ACIT OpenConf is a conference management system that automates the paper submission and the whole reviewing process. It can be accessed via ACIT web site at www.acit2k.org. Any question regarding submission or the reviewing process should be directed to acit@ccis2k.org. A final preparation format is available in the conference web site. Before final acceptance, all referees comments must be considered and the paper must be formatted according to IEEE camera-ready instructions that are provided in the conference web site. Accepted papers for authors who complete registration will be published in the conference proceedings under IEEE Explore.
The evaluation of submitted papers is based on the importance and usefulness of the research topic. Technical merits, novelty of the approach, soundness of results, and clarity of presentation are also considered as factors of the evaluation process. Each article will be fully refereed by a minimum of two specialized referees.
