Abstract
In today’s technology oriented era computer games have became a major source of entertainment. From the point of view of game developer it has always been a challenging task to develop and write code for games that are both novel and entertaining at the same time On the other hand it is very difficult to quantify the entertainment value of the human player, as the entertainment value is very subjective. The two factors which mainly influence the entertainment value are the type of the game and the contents of the game. In this work we present some quantitative measures of entertainment for two different genres of computer games and apply them as a guide towards the evolution of new entertaining game generation.
