Doctor Dan Everett a Faculty member of the Computer Science Department at the University of Georgia and affiliated with the Master of Internet Technology Program. earned his Ph.D from The University of Wisconsin in 1976 and joined the Computer Science Department at the University of Georgia since 1982 until present. He spent a year in Malaysia as a visiting scholar. Dr. Everett is the undergraduate advisor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Georgia. He teaches a course in Computer Modeling and Science, and he is writing a textbook (with Dr. J. Smith) for freshman students using Computer Modeling to understand social environment problems. He is an advocate for global citizenship in his teaching. Dr. Everett is a member of "Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility. Area of interest is "Web Application Development"
